Professional Coach-Training

Introduction

LEAP Christian Academy facilitates special coach-training for people that desire to acquire professional training and become certified to operate successful coaching businesses. The professional coach-training programmes are offered in partnership with the International Coaching and Mentoring Institute (“ICMI”), a provider of top quality coach-training, certification and post-training support services.

The two major professional coaching-training programmes on offer are: The Foundational Coach Activator Course, which is an introductory coach-training programme; and The Professional Coach Activator Programme, which is an international certified professional coach-training programme. The two programmes are briefly highlighted below.

1. The Foundational Coach Activator Course

The Foundational Coach Activator Course is a precursor to The Professional Coach Activator Programme, and is an excellent programme for people that wish to improve their leadership and resource management capacity through the adaptation of transformational and performance-enhancing coaching tools and techniques. The Course specifically exposes you to the power and potential of coaching in unlocking and unleashing potentials. It also provides practical tips to successfully coach others to achieve important goals, as well as how to produce excellent results in life and at work.

The Course is massively useful to everyone with leadership and management responsibilities, providing soft skills and people skills that are required to optimise leadership, management, communication, people, negotiation and sales skills among others. The Course in this regard is particularly beneficial if you, as a leader desires to get more out of people through inspirational engagements rather than coercion, intimidation or manipulation.

2. The Professional Coach-Activator Programme

The Professional Coach-Activator Programme is the perfect coach-training Course for aspiring and budding professional coaches. This practical coach-training programme offers the best learning approach in laying a solid foundation for a resourceful and impactful professional coaching career. The Course exposes trainees to the most essential core competencies for an effective coaching practice. It also presents the trainee with time-tested coaching tools and models to co-create the coaching relationship, so that the coach can work effectively with different personalities.

The Course is designed for people that wish to become professional coaches as an additional career or capability, as well as those that desire to use specialised coaching processes and techniques to improve their leadership/management skills and performance. These include corporate team leaders, workplace supervisors, senior/line/middle managers, talent managers, HR managers and practitioners, public service administrators, as well as business owners and managers.
